This painting was a gift from my mom, Gayle Joliet, and it depicts my husband and I walking along one of our mowed trails in the company of our dogs and cats. Our acreage in Whitewright, TX has never been tilled (says the neighbor) and still has many native Blackland prairie plants. We enjoy walking around the property to see what’s in bloom, and it’s especially fun with the dogs and cats along for the stroll.
