About Radionix
Our Story
Radionix began in 1961, when two young engineers — Billy Williams and Renee James — decided to build radios that were as dependable as the people who used them. Working out of a small shop in Texas, they launched the Model 1: a walnut-cased transistor radio with clear, warm sound that quickly became part of everyday life.

Built to Last
For over 60 years, Radionix has stayed true to that founding promise: sound you can trust, style you’ll love, and quality that lasts for decades. Many of our early models are still in use today — proof that craftsmanship matters.
Yesterday and Today
While our heritage is rooted in classic analog design, we continue to adapt for modern life. The Radionix Model 5 brings Bluetooth streaming, USB-C charging, and improved speaker clarity — all in the same sturdy cabinet style that made the Model 1 a favorite.

Family-Owned, Texas Proud
Still based in Henton, Texas, Radionix remains a family-owned business. Each unit is assembled with care, keeping alive the tradition of American craftsmanship.
